What every plan includes

All plans have the same features. Only the disk changes.

Official Home Assistant

Unmodified. Update with one click when you choose, with automatic rollback if the new version fails to start.

Mobile access

Your own address with a valid certificate. The official app works with no VPN and no port forwarding.

MQTT broker with TLS

Three users ready and the integration already set up. For Tasmota, Shelly, ESPHome and other MQTT devices.

Community integrations

Install custom components with Marketplace (formerly HACS). Support does not cover those components.

Web file manager

Edit your configuration.yaml, upload components and download backups from your browser.

One-click backup

A native Home Assistant backup you download whenever you like. We do not run automatic backups.

Zigbee2MQTT

Turn it on with a button. You need a network Zigbee coordinator at home, reachable from the internet (see below).

No device limit

Your instance is private and has its own disk. Your data is not mixed with anyone else's.

Support in English and Spanish

Who it is for, and who it is not for

A good fit if

  • You want to start with Home Assistant without buying hardware.
  • You already run it and are tired of the upkeep: SD cards, power cuts, overdue backups.
  • Your devices use Wi-Fi with MQTT or the manufacturer's cloud.
  • You want to control a second home without leaving a server there.
  • You are an installer and would rather not leave a box at every client.

A local server is better if

  • Your home has to work without internet.
  • You rely on local network discovery, Google Cast or local-only integrations.
  • You want local RTSP cameras without exposing them to the internet.
  • You use Z-Wave or USB sticks. The native ESPHome API does not work either: use MQTT.
  • You need Home Assistant apps (formerly add-ons), which require Home Assistant OS.

Frequently asked questions

Does Zigbee work without opening ports?

Not always. The Zigbee coordinator is in your home and your instance has to reach it, so you normally need to open a port or set up a tunnel. You need a network coordinator (roughly €40–60); USB sticks do not work on their own. It is the one case on this page that requires changes to your network.

Does it work with Alexa or Google Home?

Voice is not built in. We have not published a tested guide yet, so we do not promise it. If it is essential for you, email us before you subscribe.

How is this different from Nabu Casa?

Nabu Casa gives remote access to a Home Assistant you already run at home. Coiaca Cloud HA is the whole Home Assistant, hosted by us.

What if I want to leave?

Download a native Home Assistant backup whenever you like and restore it on another installation. If you cancel, the instance runs until the end of the paid period and its data is deleted 30 days later (7 if you cancel during the trial).

How do I cancel?

From the Stripe billing portal, linked in your panel and welcome email. You can also change your card or plan there. There is no lock-in.

Where is my data?

In the region you choose when you buy: Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Singapore, Bangalore or Sydney. If you prefer the EU, choose Amsterdam or Frankfurt.

Who can see my instance?

It is private. Our operator access is used only for maintenance.

How do I get support?

By email, in English or Spanish: support@coiaca.com.

Try it for 30 days at no cost

If it is not what you wanted, cancel before day 31 and pay nothing.
